Taranto’s annual summer party in Liverpool showed how shared goals, camaraderie, collaboration and a little friendly competition combine to build co‑working across our operational functions – while having fun and raising money for charity.
We spent the day in teams tackling a wide variety of challenges: Building a scooter from a kit was hands‑on and methodical. The result was seven scooters that have been donated to charity. Our AI challenge took us back to our laptops and the results have demonstrated how far our AI skills have come. Our quiz not only tested our general knowledge, but the accuracy and speed of our responses.
As well as meeting colleagues in real life and having a lot of fun, we raised over £800 on the day for our charity, Little Lights – a hospice that supports families with children with life‑limiting conditions.
Thanks to all our Taranto colleagues for entering into the spirit of the day – and for your generous donations. And thanks to all the organisations who donated to our prize raffle.
