Brighton and Hove has now gone live with Taranto parking enforcement solution

Following the last year’s confirmation that Taranto is the preferred bidder for Brighton and Hove City Council’s parking enforcement system, we are delighted to announce that the system is now fully up and running. The system has been migrated from the Conduent system, and went live on schedule in January 2023.

The Taranto system integrates with the council’s in-house developed permit system, highlighting Taranto’s flexibility to integrate with third party applications. The council is planning to introduce different Taranto modules including PCN processing, Blue Badge Checker on the handheld, Relocations and Taranto Fleet Bureau.

The system is developed with the user in mind, with Taranto Mobile rolled out to the council’s Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) to issue PCNs in the field, and members of the public using the Taranto self-service portal to view, pay or challenge their PCN online.
